About Catch My Story

CatchMyStory began in 2013 when four friends were talking about how they wished they had gathered family stories of their older relatives before they died. “Why can’t there be an easy way to capture those stories and be able to create a book and pass it down to future generations”, they asked.

Today, CatchMyStory’s open architecture and easy-to-use interface allow any kind of story, adventure or event to be chronicled and shared with friends and loved ones. Though the original concept focused on life-related stories, our customers can create everything from cookbooks to poetry collections, and travel journals, to more obvious uses like life stories or time spent in military service. CatchMyStory can be used to record just about anything you’d like to share with a friend, a loved one, or future generations.

In 2017 David Holton acquired sole ownership of the company.

In 2019, David gifted CatchMyStory LLC to the Durham Rescue Mission

We trust you will find CatchMyStory to be a lasting gift that will enrich your life and the lives of your friends and loved ones!
